Internet Advertising rates are based on ad size, page placement, focus and duration. Animation, sound and other graphic effects can be added to any size advertisement. Ads can act as links to individual business profile pages in community-focus or to external web pages or a web site.

There are several ad size and formats available. The following are samples of standard sizes and option. Ad design time is not included in these prices and will vary. You may choose the page on which your ad will appear providing that space is available. A higher rate is charged for advertising on the site index page due to higher traffic.

Revolving Banner Ads

These ads appear at the left and right margins of a page (space permitting). The overall size is 120 pixels wide and 300 pixels high.

These ads change each time a page is refreshed or opened and are timed to change about each 5 seconds. This makes them more eye-catching to viewers and allows us to to keep our advertising rates as low as possible for prime areas of the publication.

 

Spot Ads

These ads appear anywhere on a web page and can have a variety of sizes. Higher rates apply for positioning on the main page and within navigation bars.

Business Directory Listing

The Community-focus Business Directory is a low-cost means of generating traffic to your web site. Listings include your business name, address, phone and email information as well as a summary of your products and services. Every business is assigned search keywords and business category to help people find you.

Included with your listing is the option to submit articles to our business news section where we publicize what's happening at local businesses. Only subscribers can submit articles for publishing.
